How to go kayaking in the cova Tallada?
The fastest option to go to the carved cave is to go by kayak, as long as you take the kayak from the end of les Rotes, that is, from the point where the route to the carved cave starts.
Can I go to the carved cave by kayak from the port of Denia?
You should bear in mind that although on the map it looks like it is not very far, taking the kayak from the port of Denia and getting to the cova tallada can take you about 2 hours and a half, as long as the sea is good. That is why the best option to reach the Cova Tallada by kayak is to take the kayak at the end of Les Rotes, in the parking area set up for this purpose.
Is it possible to rent a kayak to go to the Cova Tallada?
Due to the fact that the access and capacity of the carved cave is regulated, it is no longer possible to rent a kayak in the area of Les Rotes. The closest area to rent a kayak is in the area of the port of Denia, but it is not advisable to take it from there to go to the Cova Tallada as it is too big a stretch to do so.
For this reason, there are currently two options for kayaking in the Cova Tallada, the first is to go on a kayak excursion to the Cova Tallada with authorised instructors, or to have a private kayak, book your own access to the cave and do the route yourself.
Remember that if you want to do the kayak excursion, you must book in advance. This is a morning excursion only and the groups are very small.
